WHY SHOULD YOU EMPLOY A PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER
AS DOG WALKER

Professional dog walkers fulfil a much more important role than merely walking dogs while their owners are out of the house.
All dogs require exercise and activity in order to maintain their mental and physical health.
The extent of activity requires depends on a god’s breed, size and age.

Generally all dogs need a minimum of 1-2 hours of exercise per day. However, older dogs or smaller breeds will require less intensive activity.
Certain smaller breeds of dogs which are very energetic, such as Jack Russell Terriers, Puddles, King Charles Spaniels etc are an exception to this rule.
Urban life is not natural to pet dogs. Most dogs in the UK live in houses, or apartments with small or no gardens.
To ensure your dog’s health, regular walks must be integrated into such a life style.

How often have you returned home tired after a hard day at work, and all you wanted to do was put your legs up and rest.
Instead... as soon as you opened your front door, a hairy creature full of energy awaited you, expecting to go out for a walk,
play and run around with you. At that moment, the very same dog that usually brings you endless joy becomes a burden,
and walking it turns into a short but aggravating task. Your dog can of course sense this, and will initially test your willingness to run,
play and have fun with him. Unfortunately, after a hard work day, playing, running and having fun with your dog are the last things you feel like doing right now. So, you end up taking your dog for a short work and return home to rest. Just before going to bed, as you sit down in front of the TV to catch up with the current reality TV show, you remember to promise your dog ‘tomorrow we’ll take you for a longer round!’.

Unfortunately for you, your dog does not know how to compromise and there will always be ‘pay back’.
Getting rid of energy is a fundamental part of his personality. If your dog can’t release the energy, built up during the hours he’s locked up in the house,
on a walk outside it will inevitably emerge at home. And so, on the next day, when you return from yet another exhausting day at work,
you realize that your dog hasn’t forgotten yesterday’s short, insufficient walk.
Your favourite Jimmy Choo shoes have been transformed into Jimmy Chews and resemble an appetizing plastic-leather pie; the corner of the TV
cabinet has been redesigned by teeth marks and the book you had hoped to finishfound a tragic ending.
It is only natural that we direct our anger towards our dog, ‘how could he have done this to us? He knows how much I loved these shoes!’
No?
No! If your dog could speak, this is what he would tell you: ‘I’m unhappy! I don’t like it here, I’m alone, you never play with me,
when you finally return after 10 hours during which I can’t go to the toilet and that feel like eternity, you take me out for a short pitiful walk’.

The only way to avoid such a scenario is to ensure that your dog receives the exercise he requires.
If you are not able to provide him with it, you need aprofessional do walker. Ta Da! This is where DOGILI comes to the rescue!
